"Hotel reminded us of traveling in Europe. Old but interesting building. Rooms were small but clean. We could hear people in the hallway but guests were quiet and we slept well. We ate in the restaurant on site which had decent food. Property overlooks a lake and we spent some time outside during sunset. Sabina was very friendly and informative. We would stay here again."

"To be honest, the price was so low that I didn't expect much, but my actual stay was fantastic. The room was fully equipped—it had absolutely everything. You might think that’s a given, but surprisingly, many places lack the essentials. Here, however, there was ample storage space for clothes, a microwave, a desk, a TV, a toothbrushing cup—literally everything—which was a huge help. Plus, the location right by the lake offered a magnificent view."

"We came to Cooperstown to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame Museum. Scott's charming cottage was just minutes away. It had everything we needed, was clean and very comfortable. Right next to our place was a scenic hiking trail, and had the weather been better we would have spent more time hiking. The rental was a great value, and although we had to leave a day early because of a pending Nor'easter back home in NJ, we had a great stay in Cooperstown at Scott's cottage."

"Nice clean and comfortable room. The Beekman toiletries were a nice touch. The only issue is the electrical outlet in the bathroom was too far away from the mirror over the sink. This was the only mirror in the room so I couldn’t use hair dryer or curling iron. The room use another mirror somewhere near an electrical outlet. As a side note, the electrical outlet in the bathroom didn’t work at all anyway."

"When you first pull up the area is a little desolate and spooky, but once I got inside it was so quaint and cozy. There was no staff on site but they answered the phone immediately and there was zero hassle getting to the room. This place is like a hostel, nice common area and clean rooms"

"Tiny but immaculate house. Perfect for a couple or a family with two small children. Magnificent knotty Pine, and well appointed interior amenities. Well worn, but serviceable kayaks are available via a 30 second Dr. to the river. It took me 30 minutes to get to the lake. Although having a double bladed kayak paddle would’ve made the trip far more efficient and shorter. 15 minute drive to Cooperstown. Bottled water was provided. Which is needed, in that there was a distinct odor from the tap water. Owners responses to all questions was immediate. Would definitely stay again if in the area with the same itinerary."
