"My husband and I stayed at Alila Seminyak for a week starting August 26th, and it was nothing short of pure bliss. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and attentiveness of the staff made us feel truly cared for. Special mention to Alit (Hotel Manager) and Geoffrey (Concierge)—their genuine kindness and daily check-ins made a lasting impression. While every staff member was exceptional, these two went truely above and beyond. Our room was hands-down the best we’ve ever stayed in (thanks to Alit). The breathtaking view overlooking the adults-only pool, offered complete serenity. It was the peaceful escape I needed after recently losing my beautiful Mum. For me the hotel became a sanctuary of tranquility and healing. I couldn’t have asked for better. It is literally steps away from Seminyak’s busy streets, shopping, cafes, and restaurants and yet you wouldn’t know it inside the grounds. The breakfasts and coffee were amazing with a wide range of à la carte options. The open-air reception, three stunning pools, and beach bar with live music created a perfect balance of relaxation and lively atmosphere. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a highlight—delicious food, amazing cocktails and the sunset at night was just beautiful. We met a couple who return every year, and they shared how the staff remember them and their daughter by name. That kind of personal touch speaks volumes. Alila Seminyak isn’t just a hotel—it’s a rare gem. We will be back!"

Our villa was spacious, luxurious, and perfectly designed for both comfort and style. The food and drinks were outstanding, whether at breakfast, by the pool, or at the restaurants — every bite was a delight. The vibe is both vibrant and relaxing: you can enjoy the lively energy of Seminyak or just unwind in your private oasis. This resort delivers the perfect balance of luxury, fun, and relaxation. "No doubt about it, this hotel is fantastic value for money. Simple, clean, quiet location and only a short walk to Seminyak eateries and shopping - they also offer complimentary transport service to Seminyak Square with hotel cart. Such friendly staff - especially Oka at the rooftop pool! Only thing that could be improved is the very dated gym equipment I tried using during my stay. Will certainly be back, cannot go wrong with this lovely place. "

"EXPEDIA PLEASE INVESTIGATE The Alea Hotel is not what is states online. On arrival rooms were not ready. 2 hr later the we were able to go to our room. We were not offered refreshments. Rooms smelt like mold. The bathrooms were not cleaned. Sheets were ripped. There was not breakfast available. No baror no restaurant to eat in. Elevator was broken. The whole hotel was full of mold roof falling in. The staff do not understand English. I seen 3 people check out the morning we arrived who had stayed 1 night. The hotel needs to update what they offer and need to update the photos as this is a 1star rated hotel and that's being generous. "
