2/10 Terrible

"My family and I arrived at La Quinta Inn in Springfield, IL. located on 1121 LeJune Dr. We were all tired from a long drive and wanted to lay down right away. Within a few hours of being inside room 220 we noticed a roach crawling on the wall. I took a picture of it to show to the desk person who informed me that they were sold out for the night. Of course I ended up at a better hotel that night. The managers and the owners took weeks only to refund me half of my money back. What a poor and sloppy management team and customer service. I reached out to Wyndham but the fact that this particular location is privately owned, they could do anything."

"The hallways reeked of weed and cigs. I found roaches in my room. Everything is rusty and old. Gross as gross can get. I checked out after only being there for a couple hours. Finding the roaches was the last straw. When I told the front desk she just said “I know I’m sorry”… they know?? Ew!"

"This place is SO AWESOME! The layout is a little strange: a divided hallway separates the rooms from a large collection of memorabilia, and it’s easy to make a wrong turn from the front desk and end up away from your room, but the place isn’t huge so it’s easy enough to turn yourself right. There’s an amazing collection of Route 66 stuff, including several entire cars, and the on-site diner is nostalgic, with good quality food. I was surprised and pleased by how wonderful everything was."
