Welcome to our delightful new addition to the holiday haven landscape – a charming one-bedroom cottage situated in the idyllic Scone, just on the outskirts of the vibrant city of Perth. Nestled into the main high street of this picturesque region, this cottage opens its doors to offer you a retreat that blends comfort, convenience, and companionship in every corner. As you step inside, you`re greeted by an ambiance that whispers relaxation… This cottage is more than just a place to stay; it`s an experience that embraces you and we hope this haven makes you feel instantly at home. The bedroom is an oasis of calm, featuring a comfortable double bed that promises peaceful nights of rest. It’s a comfortable space, inviting you to unwind and rejuvenate after a day of exploration.Moving on to the heart of the home, the living room is a haven for relaxation. A plush couch beckons you to sink in and lose yourself in a book or enjoy a movie night. An oversized armchair stands as a testament to comfort, offering the perfect spot for quiet contemplation or a leisurely afternoon nap. For those who need to catch up on work or simply want to jot down their thoughts, a dedicated desk area provides the space to do so.The cottage isn`t just about quiet moments, though. It`s designed to bring people together. The dining area is an embodiment of this idea, with a table that can seat up to four. Whether it`s a cosy dinner for two, a gathering with a couple more friends or even a family space including a toddler (high chair and travel cot provided), this space adapts to your needs.A fully equipped kitchen awaits your culinary adventures. From hearty breakfasts to gourmet dinners, you`ll find everything you need to channel your inner chef. The modern appliances and thoughtful layout make cooking a pleasure, allowing you to savor the joy of preparing an evening meal. If your stay falls over the day of the local Perth Farmers Market, we recommend you incorporate that into your meal planning! The market offers a variety of goods and products, ranging from fresh produce, meats, and seafood, not only serving as a shopping destination but also contributes to the city`s vibrant atmosphere. It`s a place where people gather, socialize, and experience the local culture.Beyond the cottage`s cosy confines lies a world of exploration. Just an 8-minute drive from the heart of Perth, the city`s vibrant offerings are within easy reach. Whether you`re drawn to historical landmarks, cultural experiences, or bustling markets, Perth has it all. And if you`re feeling particularly adventurous, a leisurely 45-minute stroll takes you on a scenic journey from the cottage to the heart of the city, letting you soak in the beauty of the surroundings. There are plentiful walks all around you when staying in Scone: one of our favourites is Kinnoull Hill woodland Park - just a short drive away and is a fantastic hike offering panoramic views of Perth, the River Tay and surrounding countryside. If you fancy painting the town red and making an entire evening out of it, try Dean’s on Kinnoull Street, or The Mexican on Atholl Street. But there`s more to Scone than its proximity to Perth. The local area itself has its own charms waiting to be discovered. A mere 5-minute walk will lead you to the Scone Arms, a local gem that`s perfect for indulging in evening meals and delightful drinks. This cosy spot encapsulates the essence of community, offering you a chance to savor local flavors and create memories with loved ones. For all the pet lovers out there, here`s the best part – this cottage is all about being dog-friendly. We absolutely get it; your furry friend is a part of the family. So, we’ve ensured there’s enough space for one small pet to enjoy the adventure with you. With nearby parks, walking trails, and open spaces, they`re in for a vacation too!As you settle into this haven, you`ll find that every detail has been thoughtfully considered to enhance your stay. But more than that, it`s the little moments – the chirping of birds in the morning, the gentle rustling of leaves, the joy of sharing a meal with loved ones – that make this cottage a truly unforgettable experience. In every nook and cranny, this cottage invites you to unwind, reconnect, and create lasting memories. It`s more than a place to stay; it`s a haven where comfort and serenity intertwine to create a stay that`s as unique as you are. Welcome to your retreat in Scone – a space where moments of tranquility and joy await, and where you`ll find not just a cottage, but a home away from home.As well as the cottage itself, when the weather calls for it, step outside to your very own outdoor seating area. First impressions on entering were very positive -the cottage is well equipped and decorated but sadly it turned out not to be suitable for us and so left after only one night....the parking issue was worse than expected (the side streets were all almost completely covered with double yellow lines) and despite following instructions we simply could not get the cooker working.
