Rustic Lakefront Retreat

"Great vibes at this little lake house and we enjoyed our stay! My true rating would be closer to 4.5 stars only because I wasn’t aware the outdoor area, dock, and amenities were shared with a separate upstairs rental. During our stay, two sketchy men were staying upstairs and had about eight fishing poles spread across the entire dock, leaving very little room for anyone else to enjoy it. I also wasn’t completely comfortable letting my kids play outside with them there. Just something families should be aware of when booking."

"We had a Fabulous weekend. This cabin was on a quiet cove. You are literally steps away from the water. The screened in porch was our favorite feature we saw egrets, blue heron deer blue bird greeted us in the morning woodpecker. This cabin reminded me of my grandmother's house. (She had same cabinetry)This is a four room cinderblock cabin. One bedroom with queen bed with rollout chair the other with fullsize bed with single trundle. It was fixed up really cute. The screened porch makes it fell so much bigger. The dock was great my husband enjoyed fishing off it and the manicured yard. The host has wood ready for you for the firepit. Bring your fuzzy slippers and favorite coffee mug and de-stress as the screened porch welcomes you. Watching the mist on the lake with lots of wildlife so relaxing. Even tho the pictures look smaller the rooms are surprisingly larger than I expected. We had 3 adults and a small dog and felt very comfortable. Actually it felt like time slowed down. Our pup loved it too. There are a couple good restaurants close by. One pet friendly one not. We will definitely stay again. Is it luxury no but it's a home that has been well loved and maintained. No musty smells clean cabin. Watch for wooden fence. Enjoy!"

"The house was beautiful, right on water, great kitchen, great layout of rooms. We had a very relaxing time and enjoyed the lake, beautiful sunsets, the firepit by the lake, and the gathering spaces on both levels of the house. Thank you for some great memories."

"Came for a family wedding weekend. Adults and dogs. Perfect home. Clean, peaceful, lake access. Lots of room. Fully equipped. Host was easy to communicate with. Wonderful host. We would rebook again if in this area."

"W hat a beautiful view from a beautiful property. There was never a lack of something to do during the time there. We kayaked, played ping pong and the video games were a big hit. We enjoyed the hot tub for relaxing after busy days. They communication was prompt and friendly. We have found our go to place while visiting South Carolina. Thank you for sharing your property, it 100% as advertised."
