Newly renovated cottage surrounded by Mohican State Park.
**4 vehicles maximum parking ** Mohican Hillside has hiking / mountain bike trails across the street and minutes away on foot at Pleasant Hill Dam. Osprey trail is just off the driveway. The cottage sleeps 8 with a hot tub, spiral staircase, and 2 decks.

Kitchen and dining room - fully stocked including dishware and utensils, grill utensils, coffee pot that brews traditionally and K cups, coffee with filters, toaster, blender, cutting board, pots and pans, wine opener, and crock pot.
Both the upstairs and downstairs (spiral staircase to the lower level). Bedrooms include queen size beds, 32 inch televisions and linens.

Two bunk beds in the bunk room include bedding.

Bathrooms include towels ,toilet paper,and hair dryer and blue tooth speakers.

Top deck has a picnic table and a gas grill.

The hot tub is located on the lower deck. **There will be an extra cleaning fee of $150 for excessive use of the hot tub, causing the hot tub to need drained and refilled after your stay.)

Fantastic Stay

This was a fantastic cabin get a way. Everything was clean upon arrival, the hot tub was amazing and the supplied amenities were a huge plus. The only tiny negative would be the parking situation but property management was very clear that it is a 4 car drive way. Once we figured out the logistics of parking everything else was fantastic!

Girls Weekend

We had a great time! We loved the hiking, hot tub and the winery. The house was amazing and very comfortable. The scenery was beautiful. We will definitely be back.

Amazing Cabin in a Great Location!

We had an absolutely amazing time at the cabin! It's very close to popular hikes in the area, the fire pit and hot tub were wonderful! The cabin was very clean and it was very easy to get to!

Perfect Locale!

This home is in a perfect location for hiking trails (one is within steps of the home!), Mohican Lodge, and restaurants. We really enjoyed the outside space of the campfire in the woods. Wonderful get-away!

very nice cabin for a getaway!

we came here after a river trip down mohican, we love the self check in option so that we could arrive whenever it was convenient for us! we had a group of 10 friends, the bunk beds & futon all being in an open room was the only thing that made this cabin more suitable for a family over a group of friends, but my friends & i are comfortable enough with each other that we didn’t mind! it’s also very secluded & quiet, in the perfect location! i would definitely book again!

Great Getaway!

This little gem was phenomenal! Very clean and very relaxing! The hot tub was a great nightcap especially in the winter with the snow it was just beautiful and relaxing. Great cozy place for the family or just to spend one on one time with your partner! Highly recommend and I will be returning and sharing with family and friends!

Nice getaway!

We had a wonderful time! The home was emaculately clean and everything was exactly as pictured. We loved everything about it here!! There was plenty of space for us to spread out and close to the dam and trails. Not far from Mohican Adventures and a quick trip to the Lodge.

So my husband is so in love with Mohican. This was the perfect spot. Everything was amazing. The scenery was beautiful. Very close to the dam. Parking worried me because of the hill. Everything we needed was available. Thank you for an amazing stay

Communication Excellence

Our hosts were excellent with communication. If I could give six stars I could. The property is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Our family had everything we needed for a homebase for outdoor adventures. Location is great to get to hiking trails, the river, or simply be secluded. Our kids were sad to wave goodbye to our "Adventure Home."

Wonderful stay! Loved the cottage!!

There were 6 of us on a girls hiking trip. Cottage was so clean and cute. It was in an excellent location close to Mohican Lodge and a lot of trails (Big Lyon Falls was our favorite) The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you may need. The stairway to the downstairs, where 7 of the sleeping areas are, is a very narrow spiral staircase (just a notation) We did not utilize the outdoor areas at all due to rainy weather but everything looked really nice. The owners were so helpful with restaurant and trail suggestions (we ate at Black Fork Bistro, Mohican Lodge and Trails End-we would recommend all of those) We had a great stay!!

Great mohican getaway

Our Family loved our little escape from reality. This little cabin was quite the gem! We were able to sleep 10 people super comfortably! The adults got the bedrooms, and the kids had the downstairs common area where they had a futon and double bunk beds which they turned into a fort on the bottom. It was so wonderful to see all of our teenagers getting along and actually acting like kids again!😍 Super easy access with code entry. The inside is gorgeous and WAY bigger than it looked from the outside. Mike and Billie really stocked this place with all the amenities needed for a great time! Just bring food and you're basically good to go! Definitely enjoyed waking up and being able to go on the back Upper Deck in the morning and enjoy the scenery with a good cup of coffee.... And while I/we definitely adored the spiral staircase us adults did find it easier(compared to the kids😆) going out the back deck and using the normal stairs to get to the lower deck where you can enjoy the amazing hot tub! or lounge at the firepit. We also loved the ability to walk around the front of the cabin and down beautifully laid steps to the fire pit area (where we spent much time!) We loved hanging by the fire listening to music and making smores and mountain pies. We really appreciated the tiki torches placed by the firepit as well! We did leave some bugspray which we highly recommend especially if you plan on hiking.(recommend taking full advantage of the hot tub after to loosen your muscles. The kids also loved that they could follow the trail just behind the fire pit down to a huge open field to play and run around to burn off energy. During our visit we hiked the trails from the dam to Covered Bridge, did a package deal at mohican adventures, drove out to Millersburg/Berlin area, shopped downtown Loudonville, and went to Malabar Farms. The cabin is just down the road from Pleasant Hill Dam, which was great for fishing and hiking over to covered bridge and back. The cabin is just under 15 mins from the liverys and downtown Loudonville. If you need any suggestions on where to go or what you should check out just ask Mike Billie and they will be happy to send you in the right direction. We couldn't have asked for a better place or better hosts! They kept in touch with us during our visit to ensure we were having a great time. We look forward to staying with them again in the future! We appreciate you!

Highly recommend!

This house was the perfect location for a girls weekend. Had plenty of space for everyone to sleep. The hot tub and fire pit were a great way to unwind at the end of the night. Parking is limited, which hosts make very clear. Road is mostly quiet other than the cars that come speeding by during the day. Even got a chance to meet the friendly neighborhood raccoons that made an appearance each night.
