"Beautiful bed-and-breakfast with the most comfortable beds and the most adorable big rooms. We loved the fireplace. The parlor was so nice at night to relax and with a nice hot cup of cocoa. The British Tavern in town was delightful for dinner. Breakfast was delicious and Glenda was so attentive. Really quite a beautiful updated historic bed-and-breakfast."

"The house and guesthouse were very comfortable for our group of 8 adults. We were so pleased with how well the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Unfortunately the weather was not conducive to using the canoes or the lake for that matter but if we had scheduled our vacation a couple weeks earlier I am sure we would have used them. Views were amazing and beds comfortable. The dining table easily accommodates 8 people. Our only complaints (and they are small) were the fruit flies in the kitchen (and that may be common in lake houses) and no bar soap in the bathrooms (and that may have just been an oversight by the cleaning company). There was plenty of liquid hand soap at the sinks as well as shampoo and conditioner. Also hair dryers and lots of TP in bathrooms. All in all we enjoyed the beautiful and very clean house and guest house as well as the fire pit and dock for fishing. We would not hesitate to stay here again and in fact may rent it for a vacation with our grandchildren. It’s very peaceful and relaxing!"

"Oak Valley Inn is a gem! What a delightful place! Our room was cozy but roomy. The innkeepers were so nice and personable. Breakfast was home-cooked and unique each of our 3 days. It was perfect. Nothing like the ordinary chain hotel."

"The cabin was clean and ready for us. Hayden was nice enough to let us check in an hour early. We were not prepared for just how sulfuric the water is. Showering and doing dishes was quite uncomfortable and left the cabin with that odor for a bit. The listing did not mention the third room outside of the cabin which is actually a huge plus. We loved the coziness of the cabin and the kitchen had all tools we needed for cooking. The area is quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed trying the local eatery Parkside Diner!"
