No lights in the room at all, except the one in the bathroom. Every switch that I hit did nothing, so I was forced to walk across the room to actually have any source of light. The television color was horrible, and I tried playing with the contrast and brightness, and nothing changed. Just a cheap television that really needs to be replaced. Finally... the AC unit was useless, and although the lights were on, it didn't work. Thank goodness it wasn't too warm outside the night I stayed. Would not recommend staying here, and I would have left had I realized all of this prior to cleaning up for the night.

Been staying here for dog agility trials for years. Consistantly clean and comfortable, sleeping area newly renovated, with plenty of plugs and a USB charger port by bed. Under new management, but new folks seem to be nice.

First room reeked of cleaner. Second room a/c didn't work. Third room had a layer of black dust in bathroom including on towels. Check in oerson was very helpful! Lots of trash around hotel.

This was a very convenient area to get in and out of by lots of food choices and stores! Came to town for our first time at the state fair and it did not disappoint. The hotel itself was a little outdated but there was zero issues! Would recommend this hotel to anyone passing though! We will be booking a longer stay next year when the state fair returns!

My bedspread has at least 8-10 burn hole in it- for a non- smoking room. The inside was not too bad- it was clean- one bar of soreness the amenities. Towels were scratchy. The exterior was disgusting- garbage, cigarette butts, appeared to be half under renovation with mattresses and table out on the yard. There was no ice machine in my section . The one machine that was available was broken. Staff at desk were very pleasant.

Hard beds but everything else good

Front desk people were accommodating and friendly. There was ample parking. Close to food, shopping and interstate. Water pressure is wonderful! It appeared clean though I always wipe floor down to make sure they didn’t miss anything on the floor when I let the dog out of crate. Nooks and crannies of the floor were neglected but I am sure they don’t get on hands and knees like I do to clean the floors. Accepts dogs without any additional fees is a huge plus! Downside is the beds are VERY firm! If you love firm then this isn’t a downside but if not, it was horrible. It appeared our room was the “updated” room. Room 623. My friend stayed in 607 and it had comfortable beds but her room didn’t appear updated. Owner of the motel: if the “updated “ rooms have these horrible hard thin mattresses we won’t be back but if you get better beds we would stay again as everything else was good! When you update, spend the money on comfortable mattresses! We come here for a good nights sleep not a modern looking room!

It was a great experience up until the last day. How do you charge someone $50 for juice spilled on bedding. Small “problem” not a big one. All it takes is hot water and cleaning solution! Great hustle to have for your paying customer that’s putting money into “your hotel”. We weren’t aware we had to leave. We were told different things. Even after paying $50 we were told we could still stay. Then that changed to, “oh I’ll put you all on the do not rent list”. To “you can’t stay the bedding had to be washed several times”. Again you’re telling me juice didn’t come out on the bedding when you washed it. So you cancelled someone reservation without them knowing. When we did find out it was nothing but bs. The room was clean and the trash was all in one area easy for the housekeeper. Like every room that we book. Nothing extra had to be done to be treated like that! Then to be rushed out the room because you had another booking which was our booking you lied about cancelling!!

I’m not sure who gave this motel a high rating?? There were bugs everywhere and smelled like pinesol in there. Bed was fine and shower was okay but not sure of the area. Looked a bit sketchy!! I would not recommend.
