"This hotel was such a pleasant surprise. From check-in to check out, the owners were so kind and helpful. The room has been updated, it was clean, and it was reasonably priced. It was an excellent choice."
Beautiful cabin overlooking Crooked Creek on the Tennessee river
10/10 Excellent
"The home was clean and the air conditioning was really cold! It was a super cute place and I absolutely adored talking with Bobby and his wonderful wife down at the marina store, which was only a minute walk from the house! 100% will be coming back! The hospitality by the owner was unmatched by anywhere I have ever stayed. Absolutely loved this home!"
"It was ok but there are some negatives. The young lady at the desk was great, at check in she walked me over to the next door building where the room was and showed me how to unlock the building and room door. I noticed though, walking up the stairs was very loud. The building is old and absolutely beautiful but that comes with a price. Every step you take, on floors, stairs and in room is incredibly loud. When you are in your room, you hear every footstep made in the building (especially the stairs) and you hear every bit of outside noise as though there is little to no insulation. There was no blind in our window, only a curtain. Thats fine unless you wanted to sleep in a bit. 630 am and the room was completely lit from daylight. Side note, on sat and sun, the cafe doesnt open until 8 am and there is no Continental breakfast. The cafe is now called "Birdies" and gives 10% discount on coffee to commodore visitors. That was quite disappointing because it was advertised on hotels.com listing. The place was very beautiful and clean, just noisy. Bring your own pillow too, the bed was alright but the pillows are absolutely terrible. Those negatives are ok if you know upfront, I would stay again but with lower expectations next time."
Tennessee River House - Kayaks, Fishing, Firepit, Sleeps 8 & Dog-Friendly
10/10 Excellent
"The home is very nice and the views are spectacular! It is soo peaceful. The host is very responsive and helpful. The Smores kit was very thoughtful! The layout of the home is nice with kids or two families. Two bedrooms are on one end with living room and the main bedroom and den are on the other end(dining room/kitchen are in the middle).I wish the water level had been up some more, as we mainly caught sticks lol(this isn't controlled by the owner)."
