Most properties are fine with me but I think this one was over rated on Expedia.
The location is good and you can walk to many places from there. The staff is nice.
But three things bothered me:
There are ants both dead and alive in the room. Surprising considering it’s nearly new.
The “rooftop bar” and “swimming pool” don’t really exist.
Finally, the front desk is unstaffed at night and when we needed them at their 7AM opening time - no one was there. I think they arrived late, maybe 7:15, bur it added some stress to our tight schedule.

The staff was very nice and cordial. The location is a stones throw from all restaurants and events. Most of the sites is about 20min walk.
The staff was very helpful. They even did a taxi arrangement on the day of taxi strike.
Very pleasant stay and will stay again if we went to Athens again.

We stayed there for the conference that happened in the same hotel. It is about 30 minutes walk from the Acropolis and the Plaka area. But the neighborhoods around the hotel are old, dirty and run down. We were told not to walk around at night.

"I enjoyed a very relaxed days at this hotel. I mainly come to my room for shower and sleep. If you are looking for a 5 Star Hotel - this one is not. You get exactly what you paid for - and this is a good thing. No unrealistic expectations. And the smiling Georgian ladies are funny too."
