Great alternative to large high rises - 2 story property made walks to/from beach with all our stuff very easy and I felt safe allowing the kids to walk back and forth on their own. We were able to leave larger items beneath the property rather than bringing them back upstairs thanks to the low level of public traffic.

Our stay was disappointing. When we arrived, the condo had not been cleaned very well. There was trash behind the couch, on the floor, and under the beds. We found several pieces of trash, including candy wrappers, which made us question how thoroughly the unit had been cleaned. We also had multiple interactions with the staff after the AC stopped working. Some employees were friendly, but others seemed uninterested in helping. We did eventually get the AC running again, but by then we had lost confidence it would stay fixed because of the slow response from Southern Vacation Rentals. Since we were traveling with an infant, we didn’t feel comfortable risking another outage and decided to leave a day early. Expedia helped us resolve the situation. The beach view was decent, but the biggest issue was the inaccurate listing. The description advertised a pool and hot tub, which was one of the main reasons we booked this property. However, there is no pool or hot tub at this location. The listing should be updated so future guests know what to expect. For the price, this property simply doesn’t deliver the value you’d expect. Between the cleanliness issues, inaccurate amenities, and the way the AC situation was handled, you’d honestly be better off booking a hotel at this price point.
