The complex and unit are very nice - security officer in the lobby, it was not overcrowded, two elevators seemed sufficient for the number of tenants. I did notice a group of teenagers prying the sliding doors open one night after midnight because they forgot the code to get in - which is not very secure since it seems anyone could very easily do so. Parking is VERY limited. Even though you are allowed two spaces per unit, we only had one vehicle and had to park across the street in overflow a few times but it was easily accessible and the traffic was very light. There is a crosswalk about a block up the road but we crossed directly in front of the complex. Ample dining, shopping and grocery options nearby (even just across the street). The view from the condo is excellent. The photos do not show it but there is a Keurig available. Be prepared to bring extra towels and wash cloths if you have more than two people. We were a group of four and had two washcloths in each bathroom so we had to wash each night we were there.
We had an issue with the dryer - had to run the towels about three cycles before they were completely dry (after the dryer vent hose had been replaced). Hopefully maintenance gets this repaired for the next guests. All in all, though, we had a wonderful time and loved Perdido Key. We will be back.
