Right below your living room private patio is the Lazy River, Water-Fall (seasonally heated) and zero entry pools. Also below this patio are 2 Hot Tubs and several BBQ pits for your usage. Recently built, there is a brand new Marina that goes out 400 ft or so into the beautiful Bay. Fish (no fishing license needed !) or just walk around, the marina offers lots of unique entertainment for the whole family. Of course you can swim in or wade around in the Bay waters that are right next to the property. Sandpiper 601 is a 5 minute walk across the elevated walk-way to the beach side of Destin West, gulf-front restaurants, the Convention Center, Gulfarium, and Fishing Pier. Perfect for Fun & Sun!

All of our guests have access to both sides of our remarkable property! An elevated walkway bridge connects the gulfside and bayside, making it easy for our guests to travel back and forth! The living room balcony overlooks scenic Choctawhatchee Bay, the lush landscaping of our 700 ft Lazy River Pool, seasonally heated pool with waterfall, zero entry pool and hot tubs.. Our condo, with the free WiFi, is part of Destin West Beach and Bay Resort which provides our bay-side guests access to the Gulfside fitness center and a large pool with separate hot tub A full sized washer and dryer is part of the condo to use whenever you need to do a wash.

The furniture in Sandpiper 601 is very comfortable. Just wake up in the morning and open the curtains to your private balcony and view the sands and water of the Gulf of Mexico across the street from the building. Sip you coffee or just relax on this balcony as the day goes by. Or you might want to watch the large flat-screen TV/DVD player that is inside the modern bedroom cabinet. A private bathroom is right next to the full-size bedroom closet.

In the living room you will find the new queen sleeper sofa for the sitting and sleeping comfort of you guest. It faces the large flat screen TV/DVD player. There is also a dining room table that services 6 individuals with the living room bar chairs. A new and comfortable adjustable lounge chair with make the day soo relaxing as you look out the roof-to-floor sliding glass doors to the private patio. Great views from the living room balcony of the Pools, lounge area and the Bay and Marina are all your in Sandpiper 601.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking items and you will ever need. Both a regular and Keurig coffee maker is provided. A side-by-side refrigerator with outside ice and water dispenser is included…along with a quite dishwasher. Near-by the kitchen is a separate full size washer and dryer. Free gym with full amenities is included.

The bunk room off the hall way offers a lot of privacy with its "ceiling to floor" black-out retractable curtain. It has its own bath and toilet so the kids don't need to bother you in the early morning. There you kids will love the comfortable bunk beds while they watch their favorite DVD's on the flat screen TV.

Destin West beach and Bay (Caribbean style resort) is one of the newest and most unique on Okaloosa Island. In the middle of a lush, tropical landscape (bay side) is a lazy river ( the longest in the area) with a zero entry pool and 2 hot tubs. Fish from the new Marina on the Bay, catch dinner and grill on one of the many BBQ's. Want to spend time on the beach? Just a fun walk over the SKY WALKWAY. While on the gulf side enjoy all the amenities it has to offer including a 5000 sq ft pool, state of the art fitness center.
