About the Area

You're on Santa Rosa Sound on Pensacola Beach island — one of the most scenic stretches of Florida's Emerald Coast. The Sound is calm, wildlife-rich, and stunning at sunset. The Gulf side is a short walk away. The island trolley runs past your front door in summer, giving you easy access to the whole island without ever needing to move the car.

This is also one of the best locations in the area for Blue Angels Air Show week (July) — the dock gives you a waterfront viewing platform that's hard to beat.

Blue Angels Air Show Week — July 15–18, 2026

This property is one of the best-positioned rentals on the island for air show week. The Blue Angels fly over Pensacola Beach and Santa Rosa Sound at 2 p.m. on Thursday (practice), Friday (dress rehearsal), and Saturday (official show) — and your private 100-foot dock puts you right on the water as they pass overhead.

Avoid the Casino Beach crowds and parking gridlock entirely. Watch from the dock with your group, coolers in hand, as the F-18 Super Hornets make their passes over the Sound. It doesn't get better than this.

Trolley access from your front door means you can head to Casino Beach for the full show experience, then retreat home when the post-show traffic backs up. Smart.
