" The Hotel was reasonable. The Check in manager was helpful. They do have a $100 deposit policy. They will return the deposit if there is no damage. There is a $10 parking fee per night. It is not secured parking but the check in manager said we could park our car outside our room. With the price of the hotel, the parking is very fair. They do mention the deposit and parking on an email prior to arriving.
The view of the Susquehanna River was nice and relaxing.
We did not spend a lot of time in the room since we went to enjoy a car show at Carlisle. "
"The apartment was very clean and comfortable to be in. I was able to receive help about my initial struggle to navigate the key pad. Nice view of the river. Neighborhood generally quiet. Not all homes in the neighborhood are kept up. But that’s not something this owner can change, so not a ding to my experience "
Charming, Newly-Renovated, & Centrally-Located Home in Downtown Harrisburg
10/10 Excellent
"This spacious gem of a place was clean, cozy and the host was easy to get ahold of. His directions were clear and concise with a welcome book that detailed all the features of the house. This renovated historic house was decorated with bright art work and beautiful plants! I just loved how clean it was too. The beds were comfortable too! We would stay here again and also highly recommend this place for future guests. It was walking distance to the capital, river, coffee shops and restaurants too. "
Cozy waterfront 2BR/3 Beds w./ Modern meets Historical Charm/Chic
10/10 Excellent
"I had a wonderful stay at Nan Wang's apartment during our visit for the Horse Expo. The location couldn't have been better - perfect for our event and within walking distance to local eateries and coffee shops. This was the CLEANEST vacation rental I have ever stayed in - absolutely immaculate! The apartment was exactly as advertised in the listing, and I appreciated how the modern decor complemented the historical character of the building. The views of the Susquehanna River from the outdoor porch were a delightful bonus! After long days at the Expo, the incredibly comfortable beds were just what we needed. We enjoyed cozy evenings watching movies and relaxing in the space.Harrisburg itself was a pleasant surprise with its beautiful historical buildings and friendly locals. I absolutely recommend staying at Nan Wang's place. Thank you for your hospitality and the special touches that made our stay so enjoyable!"
"The Apartment was very nice decorated. The furniture was comfortable and cozy. There were some things that need to be informed about. The location of apt is downtown so parking is first come and parking fees apply. It was hard to find a parking spot available. The listing does not state that apt was on the third floor also. One more thing that was indicated on the listing is that the washer and dryer are located in the basement of apt building. These details are not a deal breaker but I feel they should be upfront and inform about. And a positive note, the view from the apt was very nice) We enjoyed our visit to the city. Thank you "
