A lovely weekend getaway with three families. The location was excellent, the house was well stocked with all the essentials, and it was in the perfect locations. Certainly looking forward to a return trip.
We had a fantastic week at the lake! We really enjoyed being on the deck and drinking wine. The water access was perfect for our dogs and 2year old daughter. Would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back next year!
We enjoyed the cottage and property on a chilly Fall weekend. Many good suggestions from the owner and in the guest book. We definitely recommend this property and hope to stay again next year!
A fabulous 3 weeks on Keuka Lake for the entire family. 710 ELR never disappoints: beautiful lakefront, clean, comfortable and well stocked to our every need.
This property was absolutely amazing for our wedding weekend! It was such a great stay from start to finish. I was able to have a quiet morning with my hair and beauty team, family dinners, bonfires, and our first look before heading to the ceremony. The house had plenty of items for hosting, even two fridges! Location is perfect being 10 minutes from Penn Yan, had plenty of parking (which is hard to find on the lake!). I could go on and on with the benefits of this property. Please consider staying here. I will definitely be back!
We went for the eclipse and while we were disappointed by the cloud cover, we did get the pleasure of a Keuka visit and our house was perfect for that. I can't think of a single problem or deficiency. We like the location on East Lake Road because it gives us a place to walk, run, ride a bike, etc. We also like the east shore with its view of the sunsets.
We booked this property with another couple. The property is just as described. Steve was very responsive to any questions we had before our arrival and gave us many suggestions of where to hike and eat. He was in touch with us after we checked in to see if we needed anything.
The lake views are amazing. The use of the kayaks were an added bonus. The location is an easy drive to many beautiful hiking and walking trails as well as wineries. The foliage was just changing and it was beautiful to watch the changes each day. It was a wonderful stay.
Our stay met all our expectations. The lake house is the perfect accommodation for a family with adults and kids of all ages. Quality furnishings, lovely beach decor, and cleanliness get an A+. (The kids bunk bedroom “Wake Zone” was their indoor refuge!) A well stocked kitchen including a second refrigerator, ice maker, and grills made meal preparation for ten people a breeze. Loved the porch with two picnic tables for outdoor eating and the large dining table with inside seating for everyone. The waterfront access allowed for beach and fishing off the dock enjoyment and the kyacks, paddle boards, and canoe were in constant use! It was our first family vacation being all together for an entire week in five years and the experience couldn’t have been better! Beautiful memories were made!
The house was beautiful and comfortable with everything you need. Very well thought out with lots of extras. The lake was clear and the beach just perfect. Kayaks, and life jackets were provided and
adults and kids really enjoyed using them. Kids were so happy to catch a lot of catfish off the dock. A beautiful walk along the street with kids and dogs was fun to see all the different cottages and landscaping. Everyone we meet during our walks were very friendly. There was construction happening in the lot next to the cottage that was very disruptive and did take away some of the ambiance that we were expecting, but Steve was able to help us out. We most definitely would like to return again, it’s a kind of place and setting that needs to be visited more than once. Highly recommend!!
Everyone enjoyed their stay at the lake house, and there's something for everyone.....whether you're looking to do everything or nothing.
We're returning a few weeks and will leave a more complete review then.
The only things that stand out to me are:
- be sure to bring some water shoes if you have tender feet
- almost everything you could possibly need was provided, the only thing you may need to bring is washcloths
- There are multiple coffee pots to choose from, but if you use the Keurig and use the compostable pods you will need the special adapter disk or the pods will not work.
- everyone agreed that the ice machine in the kitchen was a welcome surprise
Terrific property and excellent host. Perfect place for a large group or in our case family (parents, 3 adult children, 2 spouses and our dog). I hadn't noticed the mention of the spiral stairs so that was a surprise. This might be an issue for some. It definitely felt a bit treacherous, particularly in wine country, lol. There is a baby gate at the top so we didn't have to worry about the dog. Other than this and the downstairs bathroom being small, the place was fantastic.
We loved the large open floor plan upstairs that allowed
everyone to hang out together. The kitchen is well equipped. We especially appreciated the 2nd fridge. The linens and furniture are high quality too which I really appreciated. This is not always the case with rentals.
Keuka is a great lake to stay on. The neighborhood is very nice. Quiet street for walking, easy to get down to the water and the house is well equipped for outdoor activities.
Everyone had a wonderful time and even commented the trip was too short which is a pretty objective measure of fun. And most importantly our dog was smiling and wagging her tail the entire time. Thank you for such an amazing stay.
We had a great stay at the property. The accommodations fit our group perfectly, and the local recommendations provided by the hosts did not disappoint.
Second year at the property and still love it! Thoughtful touches, updated decor, open concept, and all the things families at the lake would want (second fridge, ice machine, lots of glasses, etc).
Very nice, comfortable - recently re-modeled house. Great location and very well equipped. The host was terrific, very helpful, and easy to contact. We plan to make a return trip, and we highly recommend this property.
Great house located on the East {sunset} side of the lake. Great wide beach area good for the little ones and the dog to swim. House furnished with everything you need and is all top quality.
Keuka Lake has always held a special spot in our hearts but this trip exceeded all expectations and it started with the property on the lake. Lots of space for our family and friends. Steve was overly accommodating and his property is stunning. We can’t wait to come back!
