"We had a little confusion in the beginning with the Waze app . Such quick response time !! The property is lovely. Highly recommend ! Pool lights hot tub beds perfect for a family trip !! We had 3 adult kids and us !! So fun to see all around La Fortuna! When the door got locked !! We got it fixed asap !!! Thank you ! Even had a sloth in the tree !!! "The photos do not do the house justice. On arrival the house was clean and had all of the necessary kitchen and bathroom essentials. Each room had an individual bathroom with shower that had good pressure. The view of the arenal volcano was breath taking and the pool was a perfect way to stay cool down in the heat. "We had a most amazing time at gem of a place. We loved company of Mrs Marisel and Anyara. We had breakfast with them everyday. Josh took us for a night frog tour and had amazing knowledge. It was amazing hard work and love he put together in the property. You need a car to get to this place but its worth a try. "The property is absolutely stunning! There is wildlife galore on the property and you feel like you’re in the middle of the rainforest. We had perfect weather and it was a little cooler but, if it wasn’t, the lack of air conditioning may have been rough! Love love loved this place and so did the whole group. 10/10 would recommend."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Castillo. The terrace had an amazing view of Arenal volcano, and we saw so many birds in the backyard. It was amazing to have coffee in morning and watch clouds roll through valley and listen to birdsong. "I totally recommend staying at this hotel. You get your own villa facing the volcano. They also have two pools that also have a view of the volcano. They have nice trails and amazing breakfast. Easy check in and check out. Friendly staff. Over all great experience. "
