Redang Island Resort

Redang Island Resort

8/10 Good
"Good swimming pool, and friendly staff. However, the resort isn’t well located, you need to rent a motorbike to move around the island. Also, the options to eat are minimum. I recommend maximum 3 nights at the resort there isn’t much to do. The boat to go to Long beach isn’t available every day. Be aware of the tourism fees"

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Penarek?
The best time to visit Penarek, Terengganu, Malaysia, is during the dry season, which typically runs from March to October.

During these months, you'll experience sunny days and calm seas, making it ideal for enjoying the beautiful beaches and water activities. The weather is consistently warm, with average temperatures around 28-32°C. This period avoids the monsoon season, which brings heavy rainfall and rough seas from November to February, often leading to closures of island resorts and limited boat services.

Couples looking for a relaxing beach holiday will find this period superb for enjoying the serene coastal environment, perhaps with a stroll along the beach or a boat trip to nearby islands. The clear waters are excellent for snorkelling and diving, offering a chance to explore the vibrant marine life.

Families travelling with children will also appreciate the good weather, as it allows for uninterrupted outdoor play and swimming.
