"The property is located right next to the lake and downtown, making everything in the downtown area easily accessible by walking. The property itself was lovely and well maintained. The outdoor pool was beautiful, although a little small. The indoor pool, however, was very small and crowded, and the strong chlorine made it uncomfortable to swim in. My kids didn’t enjoy the indoor pool much. Overall, it was a great experience and a very nice choice for a one-night stay."

"Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience with check in as the front desk staff told us the incorrect entrance to unload our luggage. Other than that, the staff were pleasant and friendly. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. We had a loft suite which was plenty of room for our family of 4. The only issue was that the air conditioner was not able to cool the upstairs bedroom. It was very convenient to have a kitchen in the suite as we were able to have breakfast before we set out for the day. This hotel is within walking distance to Downtown Lake Geneva and many restaurants and fast food places. A Walmart and Aldi were less than 10 minutes drive. Would definitely return here!"
Timber Ridge Lodge and Waterpark

"We recently stayed at Timber Ridge Lodge and overall there were definitely some things we really enjoyed, along with a few areas that could use improvement. One thing I really appreciated was having a full-size refrigerator and an electric stovetop in the room. The kitchen was also stocked with silverware, plates, cups, and even pots for cooking. We brought food with us for the kids, so having an actual kitchen setup instead of just a mini fridge was extremely convenient for our family. The room itself was a good size, but it could definitely use some updating and a deeper cleaning in certain areas. The kitchen sink had quite a bit of limescale buildup. The whirlpool/jacuzzi-style tub was another concern. There appeared to be mold or mildew buildup around some of the jet openings, and the drains looked like they could use a really thorough scrub. The pull-out couch turns into a queen-size bed, which sounded great in theory, but unfortunately it was extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. I slept on it the first night and my husband slept on it the second night, and we both had the same experience. If you’re planning on using the sofa bed for an adult, I would definitely keep that in mind. On the positive side, the waterpark was great! The kids really enjoyed it, and that was definitely one of the highlights of our stay."

"We have been coming to Powers Lake for almost 50 years! The house was perfect for our large family. We enjoyed the large space and cleanliness of the house. The deck was great for evening games of Yatzee and conversations. We enjoyed our morning coffee with a beautiful view of the lake. The large kitchen was perfect for meal preparation and gathering around the large kitchen table. Although the stairway to the bedrooms was a little daunting, it was no problem for my 90 year old mother. We appreciated the gate at the top to avoid a late night tumble! The beds were very comfortable and the linens were crisp and clean. The host, Katie, was very responsive to all of our inquiries. Overall, it was a wonderful experience."

"Clean and welcoming house with plenty of room to gather or seek solitude, depending on your mood. Very well-appointed kitchen with new appliances. Quiet lakefront property to enjoy fishing or boating. Central air worked well in common areas, but old window A/C unit in main bedroom tripped the circuit breaker several times causing other electrical issues in the kitchen. Management company was very responsive, sent out an electrician to assess situation. We’d love to return if electrical system is corrected."

"Lake Daze was amazing and as advertised. Plenty of room for all 12 of us that stayed for sleeping and cooking/eating together. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything that we needed. Lake Powers was very clean and great for fishing, swimming, and boating all day long. We got great use out of the 2 kayaks provided and paddle boat. Rented a boat for the week and very accommodating to tie up to the dock in our backyard!Communication was great and always there to answer and question."
