"What an amazing trip! Perfect location on the lake and close to stores for any of your needs. Sebastian answered any questions we had very quickly, and even spoke with me about tips on using the pizza oven. Glad he did or else we wouldn’t have used it every day like we did due to how amazing the pizzas turned out. Loved having a TV in any areas we were hanging out at outside. Taking the boat out was icing on the cake and saved us tons of money on a 500 a day boat rental. The video sent was very helpful when it came to operations on the boat. (Lower that Bimini top people!)We had a terrible storm and lost power, but his investment on a generator saved our whole Friday night . We had a 10 month old with us and would’ve had to cut the trip short if we had no power for the 6 hour duration it was out. It ran everything other than the stove, which we didn’t need anyways. Highly recommend this property to any one looking for a great weekend on the lake!"

"House was really nice and in a great area. Hosts was great as well. At one point power went out because of storm in the area and the host was great with communication with Duke power and us as the customer. Would definitely stay there again."

"The lake views from the deck were spectacular. It felt like you were right on the water. The screen porch was spacious and had lots of seating. The kitchen was nicely updated with a huge countertop, large refrigerator, and open shelving. It was adequately stocked. We never used paper products during our stay. They had everything we needed. The community that the house is located in was a nice surprise. Very quiet "countryside" feel with corn stalks all around and fresh eggs sold right down the street. The two mile circuit around the neighborhood was lovely. It felt like we were on an island. Water views all around as you walked. We loved the kayaks and our two 3-year-old grandchildren loved swimming right off the dock. The whole family floated in the water every day. Albemarle is close by and has a park with over a dozen pickleball courts. Morrow Mountain State Park is also close and has spectacular views and walking trails. Extra hand towels would be a nice addition. We found only two or three. Other towels were in abundance. We would also have liked to see the front door area and the porch "de-webbed" when we walked in. My daughter found fishing hooks on the deck by the water. If the cleaning crew could take some extra time for those outside areas, there would be absolutely nothing to complain about! The host was very responsive in all correspondence."
