"The staff went out of their way to make our stay amazing - our only regret was that we couldn’t stay another night! The restaurant served some of the best food we have ever eaten. The steak that my wife got was SO good that she asked to speak to the chef, just to tell him it was the best steak she had EVER had in her life! We NEVER do that!"

"The house is a beautifully redone schist structure in the center of Talasnal. All the comforts of home; nicely stocked kitchen, great fireplace (heated the whole house), comfortable beds, and nice hot showers. Great hikes just walking out the front door…although we did get lost the first day. Haha. Both Joao and Alda were super responsive and so helpful. "This is an excellent guest house. We stayed in this addition in the backyard. Extremely spacious brand new very comfortable bed and very quiet. They have an excellent breakfast and excellent lunch, but don’t serve dinner. The location is fantastic. Walkable and safe. This was one of our top hotels we stayed in Portugal."
