"This lodge is located off the beaten track. It takes about 20 min to get here from Mindo on a narrow dirt road. The accommodation is basic but nice. Staff is small but very attentive. My cabin was spacious with one queen sized bed and three single beds (two of them in a loft). Nature around the lodge is beautiful."

"Manuela is so friendly, accomodating & helpful! We enjoyed a few walks into Mindo center from the location & even from Mariposa Butterfly back. It feels safe, convenient & authentic. We enjoyed some lemongrass tea from the garden (on invitation to use the garden fruit & herbs) The Yumbosa Chocolate tour in town is a treat as well. Thank you!"

"The property was ideal and as described. The only things we could have used was a fan and more mosquito spray! We were walking distance to the butterfly garden which was spectacular as well as a chairlift going up the mountain for a waterfall tour. It was farther into town than walking distance and only one restaurant nearby so I would suggest getting the meal option or shopping in town for food.
