"Fantastic stay at this rustic, cliff-top resort. Staff were exceptional with frequent check in to ensure we were having a good stay. The View restaurant is perched atop the cliff face and forges panoramic views of Kuta and the Indian Ocean. Food, drinks and service all great. I’d booked a forest room with dipping pool, but was upgraded on arrival to ocean view bungalow (no.22) with infinity pool. The room is rustic and a little basic, but that’s the charm. "Great if you’re looking to save money in Canggu. Big rooms, clean bed to sleep in. AC worked great. Bathroom very old and odd, but you get what you pay for. Perfect for just what we needed, cheap, safe place for a few nights to sleep at in Canggu. "

"Stayed for a week, great spot, new, stylish hotel with fast, reliable wifi. No brekkie but you’re welcome to use their kitchen or I’d recommend sauntering up the hill to try chef/owner’s place, Somerset. Easy to explore on foot from here - quick walk to the beach. Our last stop of a month on Bali and we’re sorry to leave these beautiful, kind people."

"Venue is in a location far enough away not to be affected by the noise of the bars, but for some that might be an issue. The beach(southern part) is approx 15 minutes walk away, the busier northern part is a fair distance but was a pleasant enough walk there. The room was spacious but lacked basic essential maintenance. There were stickers in the bathroom insecure with exposed wires, shower head was blocked so didn’t spray too well, multiple light bulbs not working lock on door was difficult...

"Great location in the heart of Berewa, Canggu, great service. The deluxe rooms are a great layout and very clean and new but they are on the main road so it is quite noisy with bikes flying by at night. The balconys with pool and sunset views for the superior rooms are so much nicer than a view of the street and I imagine more quiet on that side too. The beds are a bit hard for me but everything else was great so I did enjoy my stay at Tanaka and would come back again."

"Really close to airport. Local bus on main road takes you one stop to both domestic & international airport for IDR4000. That's about it. No hot water!"

"I would definitely stay again at Grun as the hotel and amenities are great, but there are some lessons to be learned in customer service. I booked an in-room massage, the masseuse was 30 minutes late and no one notified me of the delay. This was very frustrating as I had plans later, and with it being my last day in Uluwatu I felt like I was wasting away time. It would have been ideal if the front desk notified me of the delay, considering as they were transporting the masueus around the...
