The nicest villa with the most open floor plan in Heron Marsh!! Come experience a wonderful stay!
Barefeet Retreat is a low country 2 story, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa overlooking large saltwater marsh located within the gated community of Litchfield By The Sea (LBTS) and a short walk to the pool and beach. Enjoy the stunning coastal Carolina sunsets from the oversized deck off the back or a hammock below.
This villa has been completely remodeled and everything is brand new. When we say "everything is brand new" we mean everything. All new appliances, new furniture, new HVAC systems, new floors, new TVs, new light fixtures, etc. The villa features a custom fully equipped kitchen with quartz counter tops, flat top range, and other modern appliances.
MAIN FLOOR: 1 bedroom (with 1 queen and 1 twin XL bed) with ceiling fan, full bath, open floor plan with kitchen, dining, and living area that opens to sundeck with saltmarsh view.
SECOND FLOOR: 1 bedroom (with 1 King) with ceiling fan, full bath, kids ensuite (with 1 twin)
AMENITIES: Flat screen smart TVs (with cable) in living room and both bedrooms, wireless internet access, an outside shower with hot and cold water, microwave, dishwasher, full size washer/dryer, covered patio, covered parking, private community pool.
ACCESSIBLE AMENITIES: Miles of soft sandy beach, oceanfront clubhouse with large deck area with sun shades, bathrooms and multiple rinsing showers. Community swimming pool, 6 lighted outdoor tennis courts, biking and walking/jogging paths, lakeside fishing, and close proximity to prominent golf courses and trendy eateries.
BEACH ACCESS: 4-5 minute walk
HOUSEKEEPING / LINENS: Full departure clean service after every guest, bed linens and bath towels provided with beds made upon arrival. Bath towels, hand towels, face cloths, and bathmats. (Does not include beach towels)
PARKING: covered parking available
LENGTH OF STAY: Weekly stays only in summer (some partial weeks available). Partial week stays available during off season.

Perfect Property
The villa is perfect and exceptionally organized. Everything you could ever need or want was provided. The area was quiet, and we were comfortable during our stay. Flet safe due to the secure access to the property as well. Something that was never lacking was communication. Very impressed!

This property had EVERYTHING we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clean, organized, and just felt like a home away from home. My favorite part? The kitchen was meticulously clean! This was the first stay where I felt like I could cook without precleaning! It was amazing!

Great family getaway
We enjoyed the quiet, scenic, community vibe of this property! We spent most of our time in the nearby pool or of course the ocean, so it was nice to be walkable! The selection of water toys and accessories at the property were a nice bonus. The hammock was a family favorite. Kitchen was stocked for all the cooking needs we had during our stay, another bonus! Definitely check out the PIT for a local staple not listed on the property guide. We tried the Eco Tour in Murrell’s Inlet and that was a huge disappointment, probably the only “bad” moment of the five day trip (which when traveling with kids is a pretty solid win). Overall a great trip and many thanks to Scott for the swift communication and great hospitality! PS- master bed needs a mattress pad or something a little softer, just our personal opinion. Splitting hairs, it is a great stay and highly recommend to anyone!

They thought of every detail…
We had a wonderful stay at Barefeet Retreat. We’ve been traveling to this resort for 10 years and this was the nicest renovated unit by far! Every detail was thought of, from the organizational of the kitchen, to the location of lighting throughout the unit, a cozy eating area, and updated bathrooms. The unit had an amazing view of the marsh which was beautiful and relaxing. This was the first time we stayed “off” the beachfront, but we didn’t miss it one bit because the accommodations were so nice, clean, and updated. The owners were very responsive and made the experience very easy. We look forward to returning!

Beautiful condo located near amenities and a beautiful beach!

We just returned from a week stay at Barefeet Retreat. It was one of the nicest and most conveniently located homes we have ever stayed at! Not only was the condo beautiful and spotless on our arrival, it was literally just across the street from a beautiful pool, and just a five minute walk to a stunning beach. The whole community is beautifully landscaped- we truly felt like we were on vacation. The condo itself was just as nice as the pictures showed, with a large deck overlooking a marsh that attracts a lot of beautiful birds. The owner takes great care to make your stay comfortable and relaxing and provides a detailed guide to both the villa and the general Pawley's Island area. Although we had no problems that we had to contact him about, Scott (the owner) reached out to us after a couple of days to make sure everything was going well and to see if we needed anything. The complex is quiet and well maintained and there are tons of places to eat in the area. We even took a day trip to Charleston since it was only about an hour and a half drive away! We highly recommend this home to anyone who wants a worry free, relaxing vacation- perfect for families, couples or friends! We are already talking about a return trip!

Loved the property
Most places you rent fail to meet expectations. This property has EVERYTHING in terms of what you want at the beach. The kitchen has all of the miscellaneous items you need. All of the beach gear, towels and toys are in the laundry room. The pool passes are hanging on the fridge. We will be back!
