"Our family absolutely loved staying at the Red Barn Lodge! Donna has truly thought of everything to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. The house was impeccably clean and well-organized.The attention to detail in the decor was impressive - from the beautiful woodwork to the thoughtfully chosen furniture, every element contributed to the lodge's warm, rustic charm. We particularly enjoyed playing cornhole (bags) in the spacious yard, which came as a nice surprise with the provided equipment.The location couldn't have been better - just a quick 10-15 minute drive to Walker, giving us easy access to town while maintaining that peaceful, serene atmosphere we were looking for. The property offers plenty of space for families to spread out and relax.Donna was an exceptional host, responding quickly to any questions we had and ensuring our stay went smoothly.We highly recommend the Red Barn Lodge to anyone visiting the area - you definitely won't be disappointed!"

"We enjoyed a long weekend at Sandt Pines. It was a memorable experience! This quaint & cozy lake cabin is the definition of charming. The cabin's layout & decor creates a cozy, inviting, & comfortable atmosphere.The view of the lake from anywhere inside or outside the cabin was stunning. Much time was spent on the deck, dock, and sand chairs enjoying the peace and quiet. We heard loons, saw ducks bathing on the beach next door, and deer on the island. The kids (older teens) enjoyed fishing off the dock, pontoon fishing, swimming, the lillypad, and of course the wi-fi! The cabin has a well-equipped for all of our needs. The kitchen was had everything we needed to prepare meals and a numerous comfy living areas for relaxing. Our favorites were the screened porch, deck, hammock, and of course anywhere inside the cabin. The firepit, beautiful patio table and chairs, and screened porch all add to the cabin's charm.The location is ideal. It's close to Park Rapids, Nevis, and Dorset. We took one day and went exploring-so many places to see and things to do! Lots to explore!The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the stay even more enjoyable. Their hospitality was truly appreciated & exceptional.For a peaceful, charming, and authentic Northern Minnesota getaway, look no further! Sandy Pines is highly recommended."

"This home was stunning and exceptionally well-suited for a large family gathering. With ample space, it comfortably accommodated our group of 18 without feeling crowded. The beds were notably comfortable, and the lake—particularly near the dock—was impressively clean. The bay is peaceful and less trafficked than other areas of the lake, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. The owner was highly responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. Conveniently located, the property is just a short drive from town, making quick trips for coffee or ice cream easy. The house includes two kayaks and a paddle boat for guest use. I’d recommend bringing life jackets, but otherwise, the home is well-stocked and thoughtfully equipped."
