"Buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of food. The staff are polite and efficient. The location of the hotel is excellent and within easy walking distance of Te Papa, theatres,Parliament and restaurants. The only downside of my stay was an excessive bond($100 per room per day) as I do not have a credit card. This would limit the length of stay at this hotel"

"Parking is disappointing to have to pay - a major was the fact that i had an e-mail and my understanding of the word VALET meant the car was looked after and cleaned inside and out while we weren't using it !!!! the car wasn't in a covered area but at least we were lucky and had one of the few parks outside the hotel but again why such a high price for there own spaces.Lovely and very relaxing bath and good pressure with shower. Lounge room abit basic and obviously no welcome little bits .Poor changing facilities for Gym and pool NOT even a shelf or table to rest clothes.Overall a very pleasant stay though due to other commitments we didn't experience the evening meal or breakfast offerings."

"The room was very clean, and the staff was totally amazing. The security guard was very happy; he really enjoys his job and is also very helpful. I didn't get to try breakfast this time, but maybe next time I will. Parking isn't that great; you can definitely only take a small car as it is very tight, but I was warned before I arrived."

"Great location, walking distance to restaurants and attractions which were nearby. Spacious rooms and living areas. Off-site parking nearby and reasonably priced. Drop off luggage and then park off site is not an inconvenience at all."

"The building is old, but more than servicible for a few nights in Wellington. The main thing is that most hotel rooms here don'thave windows and the bathroom door is a barndoor that leaves a gap wide enough to see somebody sitting on the toilet when you are standing at the foot of the bed. The bathroom is very lacking in privacy in that regard..."
