"Smallish lodge with informative game drives. Staff really nice a friendly. Accomodation was clean and comfortable. Nice to have a couple of Hippo's hanging out the front. Food good without being over the top. Given the weather, didnt get to make much use of the outdoor area, but would be nice in summer. My only gripe is when I neede to cancel and rebook, it took almost 2 months and the commencement of credit card chargeback to get my refund (which was not disputed). "

"What can we say this place took our breathe away! Such a beautiful setting with the accommodation set right amongst the natural surroundings of how these animals should be seen. The staff again like at Tsala in Plettenberg were amazing and can’t do enough to help you during your stay and after too. The guides are extremely knowledgable and welcome all questions and make you feel very comfortable and at ease during the game drives. For anybody wanting a unique safari experience with game animals...

"Hopewell is potentially a stupendous destination. Accommodation was excellent and luxurious. I feel they tried too hard to provide very fancy food that did not quite come off and this could be improved. They do not have the Big 5 but there is plenty of game to see and the Ranger is excellent. This is a fantastic location for a honeymoon or just a peaceful getaway in the Eastern Cape Bush."

"Found Chrislin Lodge very comfortable and relaxing. Well organised establishment, safe with friendly staff. Close to Addo Elephant park, only downside was the condition of the access roads, where road works are being conducted."

"Bukela is a beautiful stay, facilities are great, friendly staff and our ranger (Sim) was very knowledgeable. Foodwise is really below average, just not good especially for a 5* resort. It felt like diner was prepared during the day and heated up in the evening, just not fresh. Breakfast was really poor. Only meal that was good was the lunch. No snacks during the day. Due to this matter i will not likely to visit Bukela again nor reconmend to anyone which is regretful as the staff and facilities...
