"Room was clean and well maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful. Parking was right outside our room Close to the Hunter valley gardens and Harrigans and a number of wineries. Pool area looked a great place to spend a Sunny afternoon. The main dining room was closed due to renovations and so dinner was in the breakfast room. The staffing was very poor in that the young lady attending to the dining room was also the bar tender. She was extremely busy and was doing her best to do both areas with a smile and grace. It is however unfair to expect someone to cover both those areas. The meals we had were very good, but to pay $48 for a chicken breast in a sauce was definitely on the steep side given the environment, staffing, and lack of finesse."

"Only an overnight stay, but the room was lovely and the staff were very helpful. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room. It would be a great place to stay for a few days in comfort. The staff made my late arrival and early departure easy - for which I'm very grateful."
