"The Cairn hotel was excellent value for money, we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly, the food was good abd the bed was comfy, what more can you ask. Our only negative was the hotel was looking tired in parts with flaky paint on the ceiling."

My only criticism is that the drive leading to the property from Otley Road needs a contractor brought in to resurface - potholes are not good for welcoming guests quite apart from the potential damage to cars. "I liked the Way it was decorated, in the theme of a log cabin (I really like log cabins ) AND the grounds are Really well looked after. Because I've just started looking after some grounds about the same size. Maybe a wee bit bigger. "
