"We had two wonderful days at Hotel Kursaal. Bruno is the consummate host, and both his hotel and restaurant exceeded our expectations. The location is excellent, as it is an easy walk into town. The hotel is very well-maintained, and our room had a lovely view of serene Lake Trasimeno. "

"Staff was not friendly nor unfriendly. Very limited dining options in the area and the facility was average in amenities but clean. Just okay. I noticed the towels are allowed to dry outside on the line which means no heat to sterilize the towels…thats a NO for me!"

"We stayed at Il Gabbiano whilst attending a family wedding at Castillo Borgia. The location was perfect, we could walk to the castle if needs be and very near to shuttle guests. The staff at Il Gabbiano were fantastic, really friendly and helpful. The pool was great. The rooms were clean - maybe could do with a bit better shower but over all good value. The restaurant and pizzeria were excellent. We had a wonderful 5 days thanks to Gianni and his staff. Would recommend. "

"We used this Hotel as a stop over for one night on our travels around Europe. We are British, they spoke perfect English and made us feel welcome. The rooms and en suits were large with a safe, hairdryer etc everything that top hotels offer. Reserved us a table at the best restaurant on the lake which was some of the best food and wine ever tasted. The breakfast was great at the hotel so all together one of our best stops. "Room with a view! Very nice! Contrary to some other reviews, our room was nicely clean nd the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very generous and tasty with a very attentive and friendly server. Strolled around and found a wonderful gourmet restaurant nearby on the main road with a view of the lake. Only drawback was, being a Friday night, the nearby outdoor bar was a little loud until around midnight. "

"The hotel is very sweet. The front desk staff and gianluca the bartender were great. The breakfast and staff were also very good. Price was great as well as location as it is an easy walk to several good restaurants. I loved that town. Go see Pietro at Osteria Mamareno is for dinner"
