The hotel was within walking distance of the old town, close to shops and some excellent restaurants. Staff were very helpful and knowledgable about best places to eat and things to do.

Pool great in hot weather

Good modern hotel. Best probably if you have a car. A bit far to walk to the old quarter often, though there are buses (Line 2) available nearby. And of course taxis. Apart from that I would recommend highly.

I recently spent three nights at the wonderful Hotel de Ciutat Girona. My room on the second floor was very spacious, extremely clean and quiet for a good night’s sleep. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. The breakfast buffet had everything you needed. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. A beautiful hotel, with a great restaurant, pool and beautiful grounds. Would’ve loved to check out the spa but were short on time. A great place to stop to break up the road trip.
