The Spaces

The Horizon holiday home is located in Parzanica, a town on the Bergamo shore of Lake Iseo.

The apartment is on the ground floor of an elegant building overlooking the lake, whose breathtaking view can be enjoyed from virtually every room in the house and, above all, from the beautiful, well-equipped, and inviting terrace that extends the home’s living space outward.

Horizon is, in fact, a 65-square-meter three-room apartment spread over two floors, with the bedrooms located on the upper floor, connected by a comfortable internal wooden staircase.

The entryway opens onto a small hallway with the staircase leading to the upper floor on the right and the bathroom on the left. Spacious and bright, tiled and embellished with glass mosaics, the bathroom—with a window that lets in light and air—is fully equipped: a vanity with a sink and a large mirror, wall-hung fixtures (toilet and bidet), and a glass shower enclosure.

Continuing on, you enter the living room. Here, too, the light colours of the floor and furniture enhance the natural light provided by the large French doors opening onto the terrace. On the right is a sofa, and on the left is the dining table. In the left-hand corner is the compact yet fully equipped open kitchen, complete with induction cooktops, an oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, and, of course, a sink. The kitchen also includes a kettle and a coffee maker.

The terrace rounds out the tour of this level: a good size, though not enormous, this small deck overlooking the lake and the pool below is fully equipped with a small sofa, a coffee table, and two armchairs, and is protected by a generous retractable awning. It’s practically an outdoor living room from which to enjoy the splendid view stretching across the lake and the amphitheatre of mountains that surround it.

Going up to the upper floor, we find the sleeping area, consisting of two bedrooms and warmed by exposed wooden ceilings and hardwood floors. The first bedroom, cosy and intimate, features a double bed and a beautiful rectangular window that frames another view of Lake Iseo. The second bedroom, which faces the back of the house, has two single beds.


The Horizon holiday home is fully air-conditioned on the upper floor and heated throughout. Wi-Fi is available, and the house is also equipped with a washing machine. However, there is no television.


The pool and common areas

Theapartment’s appeal is rounded out by a shared swimming pool, surrounded by a spacious sun deck: a major perk that—from May 15 through September 30—allows leisure-seeking holidaymakers to spend entire days without leaving the premises. Reserved exclusively for guests of the apartment (and not to any visitors), the pool is governed by a set of common-sense and hygiene rules that regulate access; guests are asked to observe these rules, along with quiet hours and other house rules, which are designed to ensure the proper use of the premises and respect for the environment.
