The roon was very clean and welcoming. The staff was amazing as well from the reception to the kitchen. It was a pleasant stay.

Friars Carse Country House Hotel
The property is beautiful. The outdoors, entrance and hall are gorgeous. Very Scottish looking, which was what we wanted, however the room we stayed have seen better days. Ernambrie Cottage - a cottage that sleeps 6 guests in 2 bedrooms
Cottage was clean cosy and comfortable. It is about 15 mins drive to castle douglas. Owners live next door so easy to contact with minor issues. We were familiar with local area as visited frequently before.
