"La Mariposa was a highlight of our trip. The property is beautiful, and the view is absolutely incredible. Waking up to floor to ceiling windows and an ocean and national park view never got old. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the infinity pool overlooking the ocean was a favorite spot. We even saw monkeys on the property. Breakfast each morning was wonderful, and the staff were so lovely and accommodating throughout our stay. The property’s location is ideal, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The beach is about a 25 minute downhill walk and there’s also a property shuttle to the beach if you don’t feel like walking. We are absolute looking forward to staying here again. "

"This was the third hotel I stayed at in Cost Rica and definitely my favorite. The food was great and staff very friendly. My room was very nice, actually one of the one bedroom condos currently for sale. If this hotel was on the beach I wouldn't hesitate to purchase a unit. It is close enough to walk to the beach however."
