"Good service, the air conditioner not so good"

"Unfortunately, when we arrived at the property, we got the information that it was overbooked and that they did not have a room available for us, I made the reservation 30 min. before arrival. The receptionist's approach to the issue was not very nice, no apology and that I should have checked my messages, so it was my fault that I went to the hotel to check-in (?!). He reallocated us to a sister property with a lower star rating (Hotel do Paço by Vima Hotels) nearby which by the way was not nice and not even close to what we originally booked. They were not very keen in helping with the invoicing procedure, I wanted to get the difference in rate refunded and while I had to contact Expedia (who were very helpful) our presence was just ignored in the reception without even a glass of water. The receptionist from the sister hotel wouldn't wait for us, she was very rude over the phone with her colleague and left leaving the key in a locker. Having to deal with this after a full day tiring trip was not really what we expected. Of course, overbookings can happen in every hotel, that is not the point, the point was the customer service this property provided and the friendliness which just did not exist."

"We had a lovely large suite that was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. An easy walk to the old town, it provided access to the tourist attractions but the benefit of Aldi having local cafes and supermarkets. We had a great stay "

"Outstanding hotel"

"A lovely small hotel in the historical area of Braga. It is located within walking distance of the railway station and the bus station. The bus station operates an hourly airport transfer bus to Porto International for 9 euros (one way). This hotel provides great base to explore Braga’s historical sites and many good restaurants. We were greeted upon arrival by smart professional staff who made us feel welcome and were happy to help us plan our site seeing trips. Our standard room was clean and spacious, we were at the side of the hotel so there was not a lot of natural light or street views, but it was very quiet and peaceful. The bed was comfortable and spacious. The bathroom had a bath and shower over bath. We did not dine at the hotel so cannot comment on the food. We would recommend this hotel for a short stay in the beautiful City of Braga."

"The inside of the hotel was absolutely lovely. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and all spoke English. The facilities were spotless, and breakfast offered a wide variety of options. Most importantly, the location was unbeatable—right in the heart of downtown. Everything from restaurants and shopping to major tourist attractions was just a short walk away. Overall, this hotel was fantastic, and we would definitely stay here again."
