"The hotel has no onsite front desk. Our room was a 1 bedroom ground floor suite. The unit is dated but in good condition and clean. Oddly it didn’t have hand soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Parking is underground and there is surface street parking. I called the hotel walkable and it is to a point. The beach is 5 minutes down the road whereas the downtown restaurant area is about 20 minutes away. If you’re using Google Maps and taking the shortest route carry a flashlight for the walk...

"The position of the property is amazing overlooking the port and the town of Llanes and the surrounding area is fantastic. The apartment is very nice but the equipment is very basic. The WiFi doesn’t work, there is no oven, there are not enough knives and forks and cups for 6 people, there is no sharp knife, the filter coffee machine does not work and the Italian coffee maker doesn’t work with an induction hob. "Great property; helpful and friendly owners; superb base for exploring the local area. The nearest town, Infiesto, is a 5-minute drive away with local well-stocked supermarket. We cooked most evenings using the wood barbecue in the private garden. There are good walks from the house and Oviedo, Gijon, Covadonga, etc. are within a 45 minute drive. We were a family group of 4 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room for everyone. All-in-all, a fantastic place to spend a holiday!"

"This is a beautiful hotel which is well situated to see the tomb of Pelayo and the basilica. Charming and full of character, this hotel is worth the money. The restaurant serves dinner with Asturian classics at a reasonable price. The only criticism is that the waiter could not tell us anything about the cheeses we were eating. As Asturias is known for its gastronomy, a hotel of this class should have staff who can talk about the food in either English or Spanish. That said, I would not hesitate to return. "
