"The house was in a great location and close to town. A wonderful surprise was the chest freezer to store all of the fish. The washer and dryer was also a nice bonus. The dock was a little challenging because of the depth and wind. Also, the electrical for a boat needs to be run from the home. I would stay here again the host and hostess were very accommodating. There is enough room for everyone and plenty of things to do. Beautiful sunset and the water is clean."

"This property had plenty of "toys" for the lake and great fishing off the dock. Only issue was keeping upstairs cool. We stayed during an unusal hot spell for Minnesota, so maybe this was a one time issue. The area has a variety of things to do. Loved that property was on an isolated road."

"We had extended family ranging in age from babies to great grandparents and there was enough room for all of us to be together and enough private spaces when we needed to be apart. The hosts did a great job of communicating and trying to make us feel at home and providing us with pertinent property information. "The place itself is very nice, but it is old and it shows. The main level is very nice but property could have been cleaned better as we had bugs everywhere and found a dead cockroach under a couch. Also would recommend for the property manager to get more basic cooking supplies in the rental (salt, pepper, oil) as we’ve had these provided previously at other stays as well as sending out an electronic version of the welcome binder prior to arrival as there were things in there we didn’t know and...

"Beautiful house, lots of outdoor seating areas with a lake view. We enjoyed the fire pit with the complimentary wood bundle. Our group consisted of 8 women over 60, and we found the proximity to Carlos Creek Winery perfect for our plans. We slept two in each room and one on each of the two pullout sofa beds."
