"Cozy house far enough away but close enough to town"

"We had a group of ladies stay at the house and we enjoyed our stay. It was conveniently located close to all the shopping and restaurants. If it wasn’t so cold when we stayed we would have been able to walk to all the shopping. Everything we could need was supplied for the kitchen including coffee and creamer along with smaller kitchen appliances. We stayed during below zero temps and the main floor did have a hard time staying warm but the upstairs was nice and toasty. Overall a great house...

"This property was just what we were looking for with 13 adults and a new grandchild. The large common areas upstairs and downstairs gave us plenty of room to gather, and the large bedrooms gave everyone a comfortable space of their own. The kitchen was very well-stocked with tools and the little things in the pantry you forget to bring on vacation. We usually stay at a different VRBO but we opted to try this place this year because it was a better price and a larger house. I contacted the host a day before arrival to see if we would be able to get in any sooner than 4PM since we were traveling quite a distance and wanted to time our arrival correctly. "We had a group of 14 which gathered in Walker, MN to stay at this very spacious, quiet location. The house is as advertised with a lot of space and many bedrooms with various types of beds and all with their own bathroom (toilet and sink). There are two shower rooms (with a sink and toilet as well) and they worked out well for all of us and Ron and Melanie (our hosts) even provided shampoos and body wash :). "We stayed here for a fall weekend and it was located perfectly between Lake George and Park Rapids. Nice cabin! Everything was as advertised and only complaint would be bringing dish and hand soap...and the main queen bed is super comfy, but its very noisy! 3rd world problems I suppose, but literally the squeakiest bed. Adjusting during sleep it's like the bed is screaming from giving birth lol! We'd stay here again for sure though! Great location, great cabin!"
