"The staff was helpful on the premises, but it was a little more difficult to get help over the phone when chatting about a small dollar or so discrepancy between the hotel charging price and the third-party app price. Breakfast was well supplied with good variety. The pool was somewhat clean but needed a very good wash and sweep around the corners. The room was very clean and water worked well. The area was very pretty and within walking distance of a park with paved walkways, a spring, and a cave (unable to be entered because of bats)."

"Great hotel. I was a kid in Springfield and remember watching this place get built in the late 70s/early 80s. It's still very nice. Bit of a time capsule, but the important stuff is updated. Got to stay here with my family on a recent trip back to Springfield and everyone had a nice time. Staff is lovely. Everyone friendly. Price is great. Location is amazing! Feels like home. Five stars!"

"The only thing that was unpleasant was the walls being so thin. I could hear the next rooms TV, conversations and even their cell phone vibrations as if they were in the same room with me. Everything else(staff, room,amenities etc) was wonderful"

"I booked this hotel for a weekend stay with a friend coming into town, but I ended up checking out within an hour of checking in, and going to another hotel in town. The hotel is run down and need of a major renovation. It could be clean, but you can't tell due to the scuffs and stains everywhere, and the very dated furniture, bathrooms, and electronics. The stained filled hallways are extremely loud as you can hear everyone in their rooms when walking down them. Absolutely ridiculous that the price for this hotel is right around the others in town that are drastically nicer than this hotel. Unless you absolutely have to stay here, avoid!"
