You could buy a can of corn from the guy with the blanket on the ground right there on the corner. You had a bed in that hot and stuffy room, but you did not have a bathroom.

Even tho the room didn’t look like what I viewed on the app, it was okay. Just manage your expectations and understand that it’s a small room and equally small bathroom. I had a private bathroom because I couldn’t imagine sharing a bathroom with bunch of strangers. Anyway, it’s not a bad place to stay for a few nights.

The hotel itself is ok. The room was clean and as advertised. But is was small. No where to hang clothes and not even a full length mirror. For the money it was ok. However. The location was like the immigrant camp in Calais. I did not feel safe in the location. There were slums and homeless all around. The whole street was full of tents and homeless. The walk to the nearest tube was not advisable solo and very sketchy. Late at night a cab to the door is the only safe way.

Unprofessional staff who can barge into your room, which happened to me a couple of times. Some of the rooms don’t have a bathroom/shower. You’ll have to use the shared showers and there’s a security camera in the shared bathroom/shower which was very odd.
