Dear Lindsey G,Thank for your contribution.Please accept again our apologies in this elevator trouble.As mentioned outside and inside the elevator, there is a maximum weight and recommended number of persons. You did overcharge it with luggage and two persons, understandable for a 17 days Europe tour. Unfortunately, but logically, security system blocked the elevator in order to avoid any accident.Time happens to be longer than real while waiting. Our Front desk did came over to you and called elevator company in order to get you out in the fastest way. It did take time, but in less than 45 minutes, it was solved. Then you were able to go to the airport in two cabs that hotel organized and took charge as also initial transfer. And then take your flight with some stress, we must admit.We regret this all matter, as you did appreciate, prior to this incident, your stay at our property.We shall be happy to welcome you back and grant you some special conditions in order to be better hosts.We remain.Best regards.
