"I stayed one night at this hotel. Hotel was clean. Staff were helpful and professional. The location was perfect with easy access to the trains, bus system and hotel shuttle to/from airport. Good experience overall and highly recommend"

Sheraton Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport Hotel

"The property has obviously been well used as it is quite a bit more “worn” than we remember it from 2 previous stays. The room had two obviously worn (as in *bare*) spots right outside the bathroom door, and the pattern of the carpet was so faded as to be no pattern at all. Room is accommodating, and there is even a safe; note the “mini bar” is in reality a fridge as there was zero stock inside to tide us over to dinner. Staff remains very helpful - from the desk clerk who checked us in to Concierge Ishmael who pointed us to the right entity to get tickets into Paris from the airport. Had dinner at the bar, where the staff was somewhat less attentive, and the food was food - disappointingly limited selection of expensive wines (for what they were) from which to choose - not that we were looking for anything exotic."

"We arrived at the hotel after booking based on the amenities list and provided photos. Apparently, after discussing this with staff over the four day trip, this is not a reliable way to find a hotel. The rooms are dated, and exceptionally different from the provided photos. You will not stay in a room like the pictures. There is no AC, no bath robes, the lift doesn’t work, the variety of room blocks have different ways in and out, some without locks on the main entrances, and unless you want to make up for it with as many free bottles of water as you can, there’s no hope for any discerning traveller. Staff clearly understood what we were frustrated by, and offered almost nothing to fix the issue. A new room with the same issues and same mis-sold advertising doesn’t work here. We complained via app on the first night, which wasn’t seen. We then complained at the desk the following morning, and were told on numerous occasions that the manager would be available later. It turned out, the manager only arrived as we were running late for our journey home (having waited 20+ mins at the reception for them). It’s in a good location - Marais-adjacent. It’s a short walk to the metro, but then again, anywhere is in a city like Paris. I’d only recommend this hotel to someone looking for adventure, as there is no way to know what kind of scenario or room awaits your arrival."
