However, we probably wouldn't choose to stay here again due to the stairs, especially the steep ones between our shower room and the bed on the mezzanine. Definitely not for anyone with mobility problems."

"The property appears to be part of an older chateau. It was spotlessly clean inside. The outside and the adjacent park were not cared for at all. There was just two of us so the fact that the bedrooms connected and their bath rooms were at the end of each. So one bedroom occupants would need to walk through the other bedroom to get downstairs. We did not see the “owner” until just as we left the last day. Although we were told the key would be under a flower pot when we got there there was no key. Eventually we found that the door was unlocked. The biggest disappointment was the village, not too many places to eat, no places to shop and no sense of community to us. There is a very small market where you can get some basic supplies. It didn’t feel like staying in a village but more like a bedroom community. There are lots of wineries and a block away you are in vineyards. A very beautiful area."
