"I loved that the complimentary use of kayaks on the property. My boyfriend and I made use of them every day we could: to watch the sunrise from the water or to just paddle over to a nearby beach bar. The honor-system snack bar was a nice touch too. This place was exactly what I was looking for after a couple of hectic days at carnaval in Rio. Great location within an easy drive of Paraty, great view overlooking the fishing and excursion boats in the bay, outstanding breakfast and very clean...

"The outside entrance is not so attractive but inside off pousada nice and cozy, Excellent reception from host. The rooms is on the small side . But the bed and the bedding are very comfortable. Very nice. Our stay was short. Just wish have more time to enjoy the place."

"The property was nice and spacious. Our room was next to the pool and kitchen where every day at 06.00 the staff would start chatting and shouting, which woke us up. Only three tables around the pool for breakfast, which were "reserved" so we had to eat in our room, which seemed pointless as there was plenty of space for more tables."

"Great hotel, extremely clean and easy to park a car. $30 reais cab ride to historic district. Check in/out was easy and the room was good enough for 2 people. They have no phone in the room but it didn't seem to be a problem. Internet worked well. Pool was great along with the bar. Reception area is also very spacious making it comfortable to gather the group. Wait until you see their breakfast spread. I hugged the lady who prepares it, she definitely loves what she does. "Nice little hostel, perfectly placed. It is just by the beach, and only a short walk from the historic city centre. The room I had was fairly large, with both a ceilingfan and AC. There was also a small fridge. The bathroom was also quite big. All was kept nice and clean. Comfortable bed, and it was nice and quiet. This is a place to relax and chill out. If you want a party-place this is not for you."
