The impression is that they want to charge for almost everything (Pool access, electricity, even the breakfast when according to our booking it was included), the studio was very small and you slept with the sound of the refrigerator next to you. "Lovely apartment in a generally quiet village, close access to walking in the hills and further afield. Very friendly folk despite our limited Spanish! Panaderia Furmientu was excellent and also friendly. Facilities in the apartment were excellent although we didn't realise there wasn't an oven! Ana was very welcoming and enthusiastic - a lovely start to our week! More to explore, will need to return."

"Excellent accommodation out in the middle of nowhere. If you wish to explore the Somiedo Nature Park, this is right in the middle and a brilliant base. Host was excellent, although spoke no English, we got by with Google translate.The road to the village of Caunedo from either direction is awesome and the views amazing."

"The hotel was located 5 minutes drive outside Oviedo. It was an old elegant property built in the 1930’s to a very high standard. It was surrounded by extensive grounds and had excellent views over Oviedo. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food at the restaurant was of a very high standard. Highly recommended. "

"This property is overpriced. For over $200 a night, I would expect a room that does not smell of urine and for my mini fridge to work. I called the front desk several times asking for the mini fridge to be repaired to no avail. Some of the staff (the waiter at the Bar) were very pleasant and others (woman at the front desk when I checked in) were not pleasant. The pool area was nice; yet it should be clearly stated that to enjoy the facilities, you must wear a swimming cap which is available for an additional fee. My son (who has sensory issues) was thrown off by the need for the cap and refused to go into the pool. I also found it strange that you needed a reservation to use the pool area. "
