"There is a rooftop bar and pool which provides great views of the city. Do not however work on the assumption that this was anything more than a large plunge pool. The next door gym, to which the hotel has free access is excellent."

"Location, location location. An historic place, located in a peninsula ((guess it was an island before), very close to the beach promenade. Luscious grounds and breathtaking views of the bay. The views from our window were spectacular. Hotel is well kept. Staff is professional and corteous, a little dry on the front desk, but not so at the restaurant and bar, where the staff was always smiling and helpful. Very refreshing. Our room was spacious and well appointed, with gorgeous views. Breakfast was very good. My only suggestion is to have freshly squeezed orange juice, like they have i other Paradores. But if you are considering Baiona, this is the place to stay."
