“The Nest” is better than ever! This charming beach cottage is just steps from one of Florida’s most beautiful pet-friendly white sand beaches. Perfect for couples, families, or anyone looking to unwind, this cozy getaway offers everything you need for a relaxing coastal escape.

Highlights Include:
   •   Gulf views from the screened porch – relax with a cool drink under the ceiling fan as you watch the sunset.
   •   Brand-new huge private outdoor shower – ideal for rinsing off kids or pets after a beach day.
   •   A large-capacity ice maker to keep your cooler stocked and ready.
   •   Steps to the sand – no need to drive, just walk right out and you’re there.
   •   Plenty of parking for your boat and trailer, plus a new public boat ramp just up the road.

We offer 26” aluminum-frame beach cruisers for rent at $50/week per bike. Just let us know in advance if you’d like to reserve.

Loved our stay. This area is our happy place. Love the relaxed, chill vibe & really like that we can bring our furry babies with us.The location & space itself is wonderful. The water either a bit more west or on cape san blas is a little nicer IMO.Altho we love a beach cottagey home, this one could use a little more updating. I would say a new mattress, new cushions for outdoor sectional & painting the kitchen cabinets would go a long way.Overall, really enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Great cottage in a great location!

The house is clean and well appointed, having everything we needed. In addition to being only a block from a quiet, beautiful beach, the neighborhood was also nice for walking. The owners are helpful and responsive, and overall it was a great experience!

The Nest was ideal

Our Thanksgiving goal was to eat, relax and watch football. The Nest was the perfect place for that. Add the beautiful sunsets just steps away and we had a trip worth making into a tradition.

Fantastic Rental

Our host was fantastic! We had a small issue with the door, got in touch with Kevin (our host), he responded immediately. The location is great, so close to the beach, the rental is beautiful. Loved that we were able to take our fur boy with us. We took Kevin's recommendations on restaurants and food trucks in the area and they were all delicious. Beautiful, quiet, friendly neighborhood. We will be returning to the "Nest". Thanks so much, Kevin!

The Nest is the best!

Our 53 day stay was amazing. We were a block away from the Gulf. We could see sunset on our screened in porch. The house itself was bright and sunny! We cook at home more than go out, and every thing we needed to do that was there. When we had a question, Kevin was on top of it, planning to return!

Love the nest!

The Nest is a cozy, peaceful haven within sight of the beach. My friend and I enjoyed staying there very much. I loved the outdoor shower! and I was so grateful to get to enjoy my vacation with my dogs. Kevin was a perfect host and was very responsive whenever we had questions. The neighborhood is also very clean and peaceful. I didn't want to leave!

just the right location! Pictures dont do justice everything you need we had such a great time cant wait to come back next year! Amazing host as well so quick to respond and sooo nice and friendly and helpful :) Everything you need to cook dinner relax and just have agreat vaction! The Nest

The house was clean and comfortable, well stocked with what one would have in his home. The property manager was very responsive to an AC problem, and I was particularly impressed with the icemaker. It save me the task of running for ice each day to keep my oysters happy.

Perfect cozy beach house!

We loved our stay at The Nest! Kevin was super responsive before and during our stay with any questions or needs that came up, and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. The location couldn't have been better -- so easy to go back and forth to the super close beach access. The house was cozy but plenty spacious for our family of five. The ice maker was a small addition that made a big impact in ease of packing up for the beach and never running out of ice! It was also great to have use of the beach wagon, chairs, and toys, as we didn't have to bring our bulky cart with us. Best of all, this was our first pet-friendly stay, and it was so great having our pup with us! One note: doors are all slatted (including bathroom doors), I'm assuming to help with air circulation. This was not a problem for us, but could be an issue for anyone needing more privacy. Overall would definitely recommend and would love to stay again!
