Spring Break with family

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed at Tidewater and our first time in this specific condo. We loved it! We have a special needs son, so being on the 1st floor was a huge help with not having to wait too often for the elevators! There was so much space throughout the condo that we didn’t feel crammed together at night to watch the March Madness games. There are a lot of things to do within walking distance and even taking our vehicle out to dinner was good because there are a lot of shops and places to eat that aren’t too far. We had a wonderful time here!

Tidewater Resort

Would have been really nice if the resort itself would have heated outdoor pools, shame they have these 2 huge outdoor pools that were colder than the ocean itself and this tiny indoor pool for everyone to cram into just to swim. Condo was spacious, fully loaded with beach chairs, beach toys, shovels and boogie boards! Condo rental is managed by family and they kept in touch just to make sure there wasn't anything we didn't need. They were willing to come right away when I advised them of a minor issue, nothing major just knobs loose and a cabinet door falling off but other than that the condo was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay :)

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very spacious and clean! However the pool was not family friendly. The pool was very crowded. Our condo was on the corner over looking and I counted and there was 68 people in the pool at one time. There was lots of drinking and a few were clearly drunk. There was not enough chairs out. We did not have a space to put our things. The atmosphere was more of a party feel.

Great location but has maintenance issues

This property had plenty of room for my group of 6. However, the bunk beds were not really functional. The top bunk railing was loose and I was uncomfortable allowing that to be used. The bottom bunk did not provide enough room for small child to easily slide in. Grateful this was located on the first floor because use of the elevators were not fully functional throughout the stay. The hot tub closest was not working. We were able to walk to the complete other side to use the other one. The beds were very uncomfortable and the mattress protectors rustled with every small movement. Every person is my group struggled to sleep because of the noise and poor comfort. Many of the sheets or dust ruffles had stains that looked like dried blood. The unit below us informed us that there was a leak in their ceiling, likely from something from our unit. When we inspected, these was some debris buildup on the water heater. It looked like a small leak, creating a mass of something that looked like and smelled like sewage. Management did send maintenance over to inspect. I was told it was a building issue and they would be working with the HOA. Most amazing aspect of this unit is the proximity to the beach and relative closeness to Pier Park.

Nine of us traveled from two states for a wonderful Father's Day Weekend gathering. The condo was roomy & spotless. Our corner condo had a spectacular view of both beach and pool! Except for elevator delays, which we were aware of, this is a great property to spend your vacation! We plan to go back next year for a week! Everyone was friendly & helpful! You must book here!

Reviewer Comments: Pros: Great location, beautiful views, super easy check-in, perfectly clean and comfortable unit, awesome pools & hot tubs, convenient parking.Cons: Not well stocked in terms of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dish soap, etc. ... which was annoying when you spend this much money on a rental. It would only cost the owners a few extra bucks to stock it appropriately for the duration of the visit.The beach. The beach is PERFECT, however, the people who run the chair / umbrella rental company out front act as if they own the entire beach. They repeatedly harassed us when we set up our own chairs - trying to tell us that we could only sit on certain areas of the beach. SUPER annoying.All in all, though, we'd happily stay again and I'd recommend this condo to anyone.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location, layout and view from this condo is fabulous. I was a little concerned about pool noise when booking but unit is well insulated so that wasn't an issue. Unit was generally clean but could use a very thorough cleaning. Some nicer updated furniture in the living room and balcony could spruce the place up a lot. All throw rugs, living room curtains and 2nd bedroom shower curtain need to be replaced. This unit is overall decent it's just a shame it's not upgraded to make it super nice but for the price it was good. I would not hesitate to stay here again but would rather pay a little more for the unit with upgrades. Managers at Four Star Condo Services were very quick and friendly in response to emails and phone calls before and during our stay.

Ladies Trip

The view is beautiful but there were only 2 chairs at the deck table and one lounger that was broken. We were a party of 7 women and we couldn’t all sit outside. The bathroom towels are thin and faded. There were 7 beach chairs in the closet which was great!
