Keep looking- Don't book this condo!
We have been to Panama City (Different condos) and have never been disappointed. This time was different. First, our Condo wasn’t ready for check in at 4pm like it should have been. This was a problem being that we traveled with an infant. Funquest said this was because it was being cleaned still, but it wasn’t cleaned properly. There was hair in the bathroom, food wrappers and crumbs on the floor. The extra bedding in the closets smelled like smoke. The elevator wait was horribly long every time we needed it. The condo itself has many issues, including not having a bathtub like listed in the VRBO listing and pictures. There is only a shower, it is difficult bathing an infant in the shower! (Wouldn’t have booked if the listing would have been correct.) The balcony door doesn’t open or close properly and actually has tape around the edges.. not sure of it purpose, but it appeared to be what held it together. Not that the balcony was much use for us because of the horrible smell of Marijuana coming from the pool area and condos around us. We could even smell It inside of our condo with the balcony door shut. More than half of the outlet plugs were defective and couldn’t be used. Now to the property. The pool area is a constant all night party with Music blaring, often music that isn’t child friendly. We were unable to use the pool at all. I do not recommend this condo or The summit at all.
