The property has a lot more wear and tear than the pictures show. I knew about that before booking due to some informative reviews. These reviews however were a year or so old, so the problems have not been addressed in years. Both the master bath shower and sinks were very clogged and would take forever to drain, which is unacceptable and a sanitary issue. The furniture is dated, and worn out, The beds were less than desirable and uncomfortable. The appliances definitely need an upgrade as well. This spot would be perfect for some younger people that are going to spend more time out and about than trying to relax. The building was hit or miss as well. We had some wonderful experiences with staff and then some not great experiences. A gentleman that worked at the cafe was the rudest person I've met in a long time. I have sympathy for considering what he is up against, but still unacceptable to treat people like he did me for asking for napkins. The elevators are obviously and issues with a 30 story building at peak season, and one shaft was down the entire week we were there. The room being on the 27th floor made things interesting in that regard, but we had pretty good luck with or timing.Pools and beach access were great, the tiki bar at the east pool is a great thing for adults who need a cocktail and don't want to deal with elevators 20 somethings, book this place. Families, proceed with caution, or find another unit in Tidewater that is on a lower floor.
